A few new officers start leading this month. Bob Owens is our new president, and Bill Beranek the new club Treasurer. Two new Board members have been elected, as the terms of Ed Hurtubis and SanDee Michelson have expired. New to the Board are Doug Geiger, Peter Eberhard, and Rick Davison. Peter has been appointed to take over the Board position vacated by our new president. Thanks to those who are willing to serve in the Club's leadership positions.

The NCMRC was started over 30 years ago by a group of railroad enthusiasts, holding meetings to discuss aspects of railroading, be it model railroading or real railroading. Not much has changed between then and now, except now there are more stories to tell, more technology to learn, and more fun to share. And that is just what the club does. Boasting more then 160 members, we hold monthly meetings that include how to's, presentations, contests, and much more. On the following Saturday after the club meeting, one of the members opens up his/her house for a layout tour. This is a great way to meet new members or just talk amongst friends.
The NCMRC is also active outside our region. Some of our members are very active in the NMRA and compete regularly in contests, placing in both regional and national competions. We also are active in events held locally in Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland, as well as Estes Park and Denver, to help promote the hobby of model railroading/railfaning.
The NCMRC is for all ages and all scales. We have members in every scale, from N to G-Scales. So if you're wanting to learn more about a particular scale, or just want to meet some new people with the same interests, we encourage you to visit the club. For up to date schedules, please check out the schedule page on this website
